Ready for the "big day"

We are all ready for Shelby's surgery tomorrow. We filled up with gas, got ice cream and popsicles, and all kids are deposited, or ready to be deposited, at the places they're staying tomorrow. I'm nervous, but I know things will go well. We're having it done at one of the best children's hospitals in the country, and it's a routine procedure. Darrell is having major anxiety over it, so I'm trying to not voice any concerns or fears I have. There's no use in both of us being like that, and I don't want Shelby to pick up on any nervousness from us. She seems to view it as a big adventure, and isn't even scared of having an IV inserted.

Nothing interesting happened today, unless you count Maggie's screaming fit all the way through Wal-Mart because I wouldn't buy her any candy. 2 year olds, ya gotta love 'em.

I'll update as soon as I can either tomorrow evening or Friday. Think good thoughts for us!
