I forgot to mention when I posted last night, Shelby got a haircut! Apparently her new school scissors were just calling her name, and for some inexplicable reason, she cut her hair. Up to her ear on the left side. Shelby, the child who has handled scissors for at least 2 years now, cutting paper and doing crafts, finally cuts her hair when she's 5 1/2! Luckily, the salon was able to get us in that afternoon, and now she has a pretty short, but very cute, layered bob:

Very cute!
Thanks!
I'm telling you, showing Zoe's pics from when she chopped her hair to Lilli was the best thing I ever did. I asked her "do you want your hair to look like this?" She looked rather horrified and said no way. And I advised her the only people allowed to use scissors on her hair were a licensed hair stylist or Mommy. Preferrably the stylist. ;-)
Shelby wanted me to "fix" her hair, but I told her I couldn't, the stylist had to cut the girls' hair. I can do Hunter's, but it doesn't take a genuis to operate an electric razor.
